Brinkburn Priory wedding – Alexa & John

Well I have to say, this wedding was perfect! I knew it was going to be a good day when I woke up and the sun was shining.

The ceremony was at the spectacular Brinkburn Priory, in the Northumberland countryside. I am told that there are not many weddings performed here, so feel very privileged to have had the opportunity  to photograph here. Alexa had a horse drawn carriage to the priory and a very cool vintage bus to ferry the guests. the ceremony was beautiful! and very emotionally charged, reducing many of the attendees to tears including the vicar!!

I don’t think I could have wished for a nicer bunch of people, it was a pleasure photographing their special wedding day.

Here are some of  my favourite images from their day.

They are lovely. I like the door shot a lot.

Gordon the photos are fantastic and have captured the day beautifully. We were so lucky to have you as our photographer. The one in the church with little us and the huge stained glass windows was just what I wanted. Many thanks again.

What gorgeous photos. The light on the stained glass b/w makes it very atmospheric.
