Jason & Tanitia were married in September at the stunning Otterburn Tower in Northumberland. This wedding was no ordinary one for me, as I have been good friends with Jason for nearly 20 years now! So I was honoured when he asked me to photograph their special day. As they both didn’t want to worry about photography during their day, they opted for the Wedding photojournalist package, so they could get on with celebrating their wedding the way it should be done!
It was a great day, made all that bit better by seeing my friend so happy that he was marrying his lovely bride Tanitia.
So as usual I have included some of my favourites from their day.

you can also see Jason & Tanitia’s pictures featured in living north wedding edition magazine out 12th Dec 09

Hi Gordon,
Would you say B&W white is your ’style’ as such? I notice that you have a large percentage of your shots in B&W, is it because that’s your preference or your clients?
Love your work btw.

Yea it is my style, I tend to bias B&W about 70/30 split with colour. I pre design my brides albums that way to. Sometimes they want more colour images but often they are happy to go with what I have selected from the album. All my clients get to see both colour and black and white versions of the print.

Awesome B&Ws! Especially love the first shot – great moment and awesome composition!
