Wedding Photojournalism, or documentary wedding photography is completely removed from traditional wedding photography.

Unlike traditional wedding photography, which focuses on posed pictures, staged shots, and formal portraits, wedding photojournalism focuses on capturing the spontaneous, natural moments of the wedding, capturing the personality of the bride and groom, and the unique story of their wedding.

When shooting like this I will remain as inconspicuous as possible, and the only time I will set up a shot is for some brief relaxed portraits and 4 to 5 small family group shots which tend to take approx 10-20 minutes.

This really is the ideal package for the bride & groom who just don’t want to have to think about photography and can concentrate on enjoying their day,  safe in the knowledge that I will be there in the background capturing their day and telling their story, with beautifully timeless  images.

So what do you get for your money?

The wedding  package starts at £895.

I will come to the bride first to photograph the “getting ready” part of your day, then I’m off  to the ceremony location to photograph for around  30mins before the brides arrival. From here on, I am unobtrusively blending with the guests capturing your day as it is unfolding.

At some point we will have to spend 10-20  minutes to do a few simple bride & groom portraits, and a few small family group photos. Then your back to your wedding while I carry on documenting your day, right up until your meal is served.

For an extra £100 you can have me through the evening celebrations. I will take a break while you and your guests sit to eat, and will resume when the evening party starts. I usually stay for 30-40 minutes after the first dance to capture the fun on the dance floor!

A few weeks later your images will be supplied to you on disk (from which you can print from).

An Extra £300 will get you a beautiful leather or acrylic wedding album.

Or if you prefer the ultimate in luxury wedding albums, we can supply you with a Queensberry album. These are without a doubt the best wedding album available in the world!!! (starting price £700)

I will pre-design your wedding album, with the pictures I think best tell your story!. Of course if you prefer different images in your final album that’s OK I can swap them round to make your perfect album.

And that’s about it! A finished album with your unique wedding day story, preserved for you to treasure forever.
